Jessica has created the Sound Somatic Support 6 week program to integrate mutliple powerful healing modalities for profound and lasting change. Modalities include: HEAR SAFETY - The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) A powerful listening therapy designed to help regulate the nervous system, so you can better connect with yourself, others and the world around you. The SSP was created by Dr. Stephen Porges, researcher and author of the ground breaking Polyvagal Theory. CONNECT TO SAFETY - Community and Connection Co-regulation and the healing potential of connection are the foundation for our work together. We intentionally plug into the felt sense of safety together to amplify healing. FEEL SAFETY - Somatic Experiencing Biologically-based practices to work with your nervous system states and create calm and regulation. Every week will introduce a new regulating activity to be integrated at home to shift your nervous system into greater states of safety and wellbeing. INTEGRATE SAFETY - Movement, Meditation, and Creativity Gentle movement, qigong, guided visualizations, etc are used as opportunities to deepen our presence and our access to the richness of the healing moment. The Sound Somatic Support Program creates resilience through music filtered to increase tones of safety and facilitated nervous system support. In this six-week online group, facilitated by Jessica Starr, LPCC, SEP, we will utilize evidence-based modalities informed by the polyvagal theory to establish and maintain regulation. This holistic, bottom up approach creates a felt sense of safety and profoundly improves the way we think, feel, and connect.

Following nature's cues, winter is a time to return and tend to our roots. A strong and healthy root system keeps us stable and nourished. If we aren't careful, the busyness of modern life, with all its stress and distraction, can easily uproot us and leave us feeling overwhelmed and unsupported. Mirroring the wisdom of Mother Nature we can learn to Rest, Go Within, Receive and Nourish. Knowing how to support ourselves with these tools builds resilience. Tending and nurturing our ROOTS supports deepened presence with ourselves, greater stability in challenge, and expanded energy for growth.
