Embodied Mindfulness and Self-Compassion

Join us once a week for eight weeks to learn powerful tools to shift your body and brain into a calm and balanced state. Class will meet online for eight Wednesday evenings at 7PM EST. A recording of each class will be made available to registrants.
Join us in this eight week class to learn how to respond differently to your own struggles. Stress levels and challenging circumstances are at an all time high right now. We can all benefit from carving out time to connect with others and learn tools that reduce stress and increase feelings of calm. Research tells us that mindfulness and self-compassion practices are powerful tools that are easy to learn, free to practice and proven to create long lasting positive changes in the way we think, feel, and act.
Research tells us the benefits of mindfulness and self-compassion include:
  • Reduced anxiety and depression
  • Reduced sense of isolation and loneliness
  • Reduced stress levels (and reduced biomarkers of stress, such as cortisol)
  • Improvement in resiliency during difficult times
  • Increase in life satisfaction, motivation and purpose

Root in Winter's Wisdom  - A Curated Retreat*

Join me and deepen your ROOTS by exploring winter's wise messages: Rest, Go Within, Receive, and Nourish.A Curated Retreat - All you need to do is register and create a comfy spot at home. We'll take care of the rest! Your retreat kit will arrive at your door with all kinds of goodies to support you to deepen your ROOTS during our time together and after. We don't want to give away all the fun beforehand but every retreat kit will include:
  • a handmade candle
  • ROOT essential oil
  • a decadent chocolate treat
  • velvet eye pillow
Following nature's cues, winter is a time to return and tend to our roots. A strong and healthy root system keeps us stable and nourished. If we aren't careful, the busyness of modern life, with all its stress and distraction, can easily uproot us and leave us feeling overwhelmed and unsupported. Mirroring the wisdom of Mother Nature we can learn to Rest, Go Within, Receive and Nourish. Knowing how to support ourselves with these tools builds resilience. Tending and nurturing our ROOTS supports deepened presence with ourselves, greater stability in challenge, and expanded energy for growth.
During these 3.5 hours, we will come together in community to explore through yoga, movement, meditation, music, expressive arts and more. Get ready to feel grounded, present, supported and recharged at the end of our time together!​
